An Electrifying Itinerary:
August 26, 2023
9:00 am – New River Tesla Supercharger
The adventure kicks off at the New River Tesla Supercharger. It’s time to charge up your electric steeds and prepare for an exciting day ahead. Make sure your Tesla or EV is ready to hit the road!
9:30 am – Head to Flagstaff
Once fully charged, we’ll set out on an approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes, 110-mile drive to Flagstaff. This picturesque route promises beautiful landscapes and smooth cruising.
11:15 am – Arrive at Flagstaff Tesla Supercharger
Upon reaching Flagstaff, we’ll regroup at the Tesla Supercharger or Electrify America charging station to top up our batteries before continuing the adventure to Arizona Snowbowl.12:15 pm – Drive to Arizona Snowbowl
A short and scenic 30-minute drive of 16 miles will bring us to our next destination: the stunning Arizona Snowbowl. Nestled amidst the picturesque San Francisco Peaks, this destination promises breathtaking views and an unforgettable experience.
12:45 pm – Arrive at Snowbowl
At Arizona Snowbowl, we’ll be welcomed by the Agassiz Restaurant & Bar, perched at an impressive altitude of 9,500 feet. It’s time to replenish ourselves with a delicious lunch while we soak in the panoramic vistas.
1:00 pm – Lunch at Agassiz Restaurant & Bar
Enjoy lunch while surrounded by fellow EV enthusiasts and the latest electric vehicles. Engage in lively discussions about electric cars, sustainability, and the future of clean transportation.
2:00 pm – Gondola Ride and/or Hike
After lunch, the real adventure begins! Experience the thrill of an 8-passenger Gondola ride that will elevate us to an impressive 11,500 feet, offering us breathtaking views of the surrounding natural beauty. For the more adventurous souls, hiking trails await, providing an opportunity to connect with nature.
4:00 pm – Optional Drive via State Route 89A
As the day winds down, you have the option to take a scenic drive back to Phoenix via State Route 89A through Oak Creek Canyon and Sedona. This route promises even more awe-inspiring vistas and photo opportunities.
